Should you bail someone out of jail or not?

In most every DUI case, the person arrested will be allowed to leave custody of the police after spending a few hours in jail sobering up.

Most people charged with California drunk driving will get a notice to appear on a certain date in the local California drunk driving court.

People who don't are held in court and forced to see a judge in three court days. Bail is always an option to get early release from jail prior to this meeting with the judge or court.

Unless you have a "no bail" hold on you, you can call a bail bondsman and obtain money from them for usually a 10% charge in cash or credit card - for very large bails, you might have to put up title to your home.
