Sonoma County DUI Lawyer, Santa Rosa DUI Arrest, DUI Penalties, DUI Laws
Beginning in 2012, the DUI courthouse in Santa Rosa began a DUI court. It is an assembly line process attempting to "process" quickly the DUI arrests in the County. DMV hearings are held out of the San Francisco APS office, but with hearing officers in Santa Rosa or Petaluma. DUI cops get subpoenaed to the hearings for live drunk driving defense testimony along with many experts. Blood work is done by the California Attorney General's Department of Justice DUI chemical testing laboratory.
I know the ropes in the Sonoma County Courthouse to help you through the DUI arrest process. Remember:
- An accusation of drunk driving or DUI, especially after bad driving or an accident, is a serious criminal charge with jail, fines, suspended license, weeks of DUI school, up to 5 years of DUI probation, and a criminal record.
- My Fees for a DUI case are reasonable - I also handle the DMV hearing and the fee is included in my case fee. Call me for a free consultation (707) 520-4350.
- The Sonoma County DA or district attorney prosecutes you in court. Sometimes, instead, the local city attorney prosecutes you.
- The prosecutor is a lawyer and wants to convict you of the crime the cop has accused you.
- You need me as your lawyer to find the best result for your case.
There is only one class for convicted DUI offenders - Check out the Sonoma County DUI Class Information page - Warning - Don't sign up until you have gone to court! You might have your case dropped or win your case. Save money and don't sign up until you are told to do so.
